Aclean Gel is a 20g over-the-counter Aclean Gel - 20 g acne treatment manufactured by Dong-A Pharm. It is formulated to target comedonal acne, whiteheads, blackheads, and excess sebum.
Key Ingredients & Mechanism
- \(2\%\) Salicylic Acid (20 mg/g): A Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) that exfoliates inside the pore lining to clear out blockages.
- Tea Tree Oil: Provides natural anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties to help reduce redness and soothe irritated skin.
How to Use
- Application Frequency: Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin once or twice daily (morning and night).
- Adjustment for Dryness: Because Salicylic Acid can cause excessive dryness or flaking, start by applying it just once daily. If flaking occurs, reduce usage to every other day.
- Daytime Protection: Always follow up with sunscreen during the daytime when using BHA products. [1, 2]
